A Fully Loaded Stop for the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Stamp Rally

The Pokémon 30th Anniversary Expressway Stamp Rally has turned summer road trips into an exciting treasure hunt, with service areas across Japan offering photo panels, commemorative goods, and special displays. The event adds a fun layer to the usual rest‑stop routine. Each participating SA and PA offers something a little different, making it fun to see what’s available at each stop and pick up a few souvenirs along the way.
Among the locations we visited on the Joshin-Etsu expressway, Tobu Yunomaru Service Area (Eastbound) stood out as one of the fully equipped stops. It’s one of the few places where visitors can enjoy all four additional (to the stamp) rally elements: the official photo panel, NEXCO’s original goods corner, the acrylic stand, and the acrylic key holder. Having everything in one place makes it an easy and satisfying stop for collectors and families. The stamp at the east / Tokyo bound SA is Treecko. Across the road at the westbound SA it is Chespin.
However, the stamp rally is evidently super popular and there was a long queue to get the stamp and at the photo panel, hence I don't have a photo of those. All four of my children like Pokemon, but enough to queue up for a photo or a stamp! But there is also a good selection of Pokemon merchandise at this Service Area, currently, and we picked some up instead.
