The description
This is a compact, foldable magnifying glass, with 4 x magnification, designed for everyday close‑up tasks. It folds into a small case, making it easy to carry.
The good
It's a very nifty, easy to use magnifying glass. The magnifying glass folds into a simple black case. And when you pull it out and push it fully around it clicks into place above the black case, making the black case like a handle, making it even easier and more convenient to use. It folds up into a size about half the size of the palm of my hand. The magnification is really good on it. I don't even need it that strong - yet, thankfully! But it will help hugely with things like splinters which are particularly hard to see as vision deteriorates.
The not so good
Unfortunately, this is a necessary product as my eyesight is declining in recent years. I had 20/20 vision my whole life until very recently so I can't complain and products like this are helping me adjust. It is a big adjustment. I really like that this fold up magnifying glass can fit in my handbag, but it might be a bit too small - I can envision (if you'll pardon the pun) it disappearing into crevices of my handbag and being quite hard to find in a larger sized handbag. Also, the black cover is quite lightweight material so you would need to be quite gentle with it. I also don't imagine that it is very durable if it is residing in a handbag most of the time!
