The description
This drink product is a bottle of winter limited hot milk tea by Kirin, as such it is meant to be sold heated and you can get it on the hot shelf in convenience stores.
The good
There is a great selection of bottled hot tea available in Japan. They are very convenient when you are on the go, especially as driving as they are easy to drink in a car. To be upfront; this is not my favorite on the market, but I find that the choice of bottle tea and coffee in convenience stores is often limited as they try to sell their own fresh / instant tea and coffee from their coffee / tea machines. I often end up buying this hot tea rather than the bottled coffee, because, in my humble opinion, it tastes better than the bottled coffee they have available (this is specifically at convenience stores - vending machines have a better selection).
The not so good
Generally, only stores, such as convenience stores, that have a hot shelf (like a refrigerator except heater rather than cooled) sell this product. It may also be available in Kirin vending machines. Personally I have only ever bought it from a convenience store, because typically convenience stores don't have the hot drinks I like to buy out of vending machines! Likewise, because it is designed to be drank hot, it is usually only available in the cold months of the year and it is rare to see it in summer.
