I wanted to buy a school boston bag in person rather than online, but it turns out that the faux leather ones that my daughter had her eye on are rather hard to come by in stores in the greater Kawagoe area. Thankfully, we found a store - Sac's bar (see place reviews) that had a selection of three different synthetic leather boston bags for school. I liked the Puma one they had, but she was torn between the Converse one and this one. She ultimately chose this one, by HEM, because of its neat size. It came with a key holder which is a nice touch. It also has several places were other key holders can be added. In addition, it also has a strap button - so you can close the straps to be close together. The other two didn't have this feature. I

I suppose the biggest negative, as above, is that these type of bags are harder to find than you would expect! Also, that the Sac's Bar where we did get it, only had a choice of three different ones. But in fairness, there isn't much different you can do with a faux leather boston bag. HEM made theirs stand out a little with the additional features mentioned above. The price is ok, but considering its synthetic leather its not exactly cheap. Plenty of shops carry material boston bags and naturally they are cheaper, around half the price. So, overall, boston bags aren't as expensive as other types of school bags.
