The price is what drew me to this product and why I chose it over other Cafe Au Lait options in the refrigerator of 7-Eleven convenience store. It is only 110 yen while most of the other options are 160 yen, or more. Unfortunately, due to the hike in prices on almost all consumable products in recent weeks and months, it has come to a point where, more and more, I find myself choosing products based on price rather than taste or preference. However, having said that, this cafe au lait is not bad, its even good, but its not as nice as my cafe au lait of choice by Georgia.

One of my pet peeves with convenience stores with their own brands is that they often don't have a good choice of competing brands on offer. Yes price influenced my purchase today, but honestly that was because my first choice of cafe au lait was not available in this convenience store. Without the choice, I went with the cheapest that they had. I think they've changed the ingredients of this drink since I last bought it, last year, because it tasted better than I remembered it! If you are looking for a somewhat cheap cafe au lait option while at a 7-Eleven convenience store, I would recommend this. Because its not overly nice either, less risk of getting addicted to it too!
