The Dreaded Toilet Clean Made 'Quickle'!

Today and October 19th annually is Toilet Quickle Day in Japan. The commemorative Day was established by Kao Corporation, the Tokyo based company behind a wide range of household and personal care products, including the popular toilet cleaning product cleverly called "Quickle".

 The date for the anniversary was chosen because (at a stretch) 10/19 can be read as "To (10) i (1) let / Qu (9) ickle". The purpose of the day is to encourage people to keep their toilets clean and comfortable by making bathroom cleaning easier for everyone in the household. Kao hopes that the convenience of Toilet Quickle products will help families maintain a more hygienic living environment without turning cleaning into a difficult chore.

Toilet Quickle cleaning sheets are designed to stay wet until the end of use, provide 24-hour antibacterial protection, and remove both fresh and dried dirt with relatively little effort. Their thick, durable textured sheets allow users to clean multiple areas of the toilet with a single sheet before flushing it away.
