The 'Angel French' is my personal second favorite donut of the Mister Donut's range. When the 'Angel Cream' isn't available and I am not particularly interested in the limited edition range, I automatically go for an 'Angel French'. I love that it uses the same cream that they use in the 'Angel Cream' and that the pastry is just the right level of chewiness, with a bit of that mochi texture, but not too much. Moreover, the layer of chocolate on one side of the donut is very satisfying. It is another of their 'must try' donuts in my humble opinion.

I really don't have anything negative to say about this 'French Angel' donut by Mister Donuts. However, as I have said on other reviews of Mister Donut's popular donuts, occasionally the 'French Angel' are not available as they have sold out. But they make the donuts fresh on site, so they usually do replace them. However, there is no way of knowing in advance how long you will have to wait for the new batch to be ready. Another thing is the price seems to have gone up again this year, or sometime in the last year. However, I think they are still well worth the 172 yen price tag (tax included) in 2025.
