The description
This product is a pack of six mini rolls with ham and melty cheese in the center by Yamazaki bakery. Each mini ham and cheese roll is not packed individually.
The good
Even though I know I don't personally like these mini bite sized bread rolls with ham and melty cheese inside, I found myself buying them at the weekend! Because I do like that there are six in the pack and they are something that are easy to eat in the car, or on the go, without making a mess! Two of my kids like them enough to eat them by choice, the other two are with me and don't really like them, but will eat them when there is nothing else on offer! As we were on the move, they proved useful. They can tie you over between meals. In the photo in this post, they are the product on the right. I will also be reviewing the ones on the left, which I much prefer.
The not so good
I don't know if 'plastic' is the right word, but that's what comes to mind when I eat these mini ham and melty cheese from Yamazaki Bakery. Ironically, I really like the mini sausage rolls in the same range. But I think these ham and cheese bite size rolls are about the worst product Yamazaki bakery have ever made! This is not a negative of Yamazaki bakery, but of Apita supermarket. They show the price with tax included only, whereas all the surrounding products have the price before tax in large size and the price after tax in small print. Therefore, at first glance the bread doesn't look as cheap in comparison to other products.
