The Choco Chip Mokka Smoothie at "niko and … COFFEE" (a cafe within select branches of the chain niko and) is a sweet, café‑style treat with a gentle mocha flavor rather than a strong coffee punch. The blend is creamy and smooth, dotted with small crunchy chocolate chips that add a fun texture to each sip. It feels indulgent without being too heavy, but you wouldn't knock it back. But it makes it an easy pick for an afternoon break. The size is good, if anything a little on the large size. More dessert‑like than coffee‑forward, but satisfying if you’re in the mood for something sweet and cooling. I don't know why they call it a "smoothie", it's not a smoothie in the typical sense.

This Choco Chip Mocha Smoothie it is only available at "niko and ... COFFEE" stores, which are not that abundant in the Greater Tokyo area. The only one I know of in my area is the one in Lalaport Fujimi , but there is also at least one in Tokyo - in Harajuku. Its not cheap at 446 yen before tax, but it is still quite a bit cheaper than the other products of similar nature at other cafes and restaurants in Lalaport Fujimi. It only comes in one size. I would buy it more if they had a smaller size at a cheaper price. It loses a star because - although it is delicious - it left quite an after taste, for quite a lot of time! Despite that, I would buy it again.
