Suzuki's Amezaiku

My absolute favorite

I've been sharing some of the shops I frequent in Kawagoe for omiyage and / or street food and of all of them, this is my absolute favorite. However, the biggest problem it doesn't work to any particular schedule and it is closed far more than it is open. When I first moved to the area it was not the case so I'd often pop by to pick up some of their gorgeous sculpted candy. My kids used to love blowing their own candy here too. Candy man Suzuki himself has not been there in recent years, it is another amezaiku, who is really talented too, but only seems to be there once in a blue moon.
