Second hand shop with US brands and sizes!

This Wattman is my favorite second hand store in all of Japan. Wattman itself is a chain in Kanagawa, but the Hori no Uchi branch takes the cake for a number of reasons. First, it's within walking distance of a station. Granted, there really is no good reason to go to this station apart from Wattman, but it's easy to get to on the Keikyu Line down to Yokosukachuo. Second, because it's so close to Yokosukachuo (and the military base) there are a lot of clothes that come from military families. This means that there are a lot of brands that you wouldn't normally find in Japan. And, there are a lot of sizes that you don't normally see... A shoe size bigger than 25 cm?! There are racks of them here. Third, they operate with a colored tag system. This is becoming more popular with second hand shops, but if you don't know, essentially each week the item is on the shelf, the cheaper it gets. If you want to play that game, you can end up getting a really nice piece for as low as 50 yen! Because it's frequented often by military families, their English abilities are all right. Plus, you can find more than just clothes, shoes, and bags here. Like other second hand mega stores, they carry electronics, music, figures, cameras, etc. And, there's actually a Book Off connected to it in this branch so you can check out the selection of books, DVDs, etc that Book Offs are known for!
