Sakudaira Parking Area (Westbound)

Rest stop on the Joshin Joetsu going West

Not quite a service area, but it has more than most parking area's on the Joshin Joetsu, such as two small restaurants and a coffee shop. But it has two special things going for it. One: you can actually drive over to the larger east bound parking area and come back. Two, it has a smart interchange - which means you can exit and enter the highway. Nice views. Lots of vending machines. Nothing open late at night, but the vending machines and toilets are 24 hours.
