Atre shopping centers are part of the JR East brand, and that's why you see these retail complexes straddling train lines in the Kanto area. Matsudo Station on the Joban line is undergoing a transformation with a new concourse and improved services. It's a bit chaotic and noisy. Atre's refurbishment preceded the station, so it's calm, well-lit, and full of shops and services. I recommend going up to the 8th floor. Check out the tile mosaics and murals. Keen eyes will spot the city limits' profile, train line motifs, and geographic features of the region. Even better, there are immaculately clean and spacious toilets. It's easy to connect to stable WIFI here, too.
