Umeyan Kitchen is a restaurant in Niigata City's Akiha ward, and the main items on their menu are Thai style dishes such as khao man gai and stir fry dishes featuring Thai basil. There are also a couple of other curries including an Indian-style one if that's more your palate's style. Dishes are priced from around 800 to 1200 yen depending on what you order, plus they have desserts like kakigori (in the warmer months) if you want to finish your meal with something sweet. There's a good amount of parking right outside the building, too, and if you don't have time to dine in they can package up your food to-go.
