Around Shizuoka’s Gotemba Outlet Mall, you can find a steakhouse offering authentic, succulent Angus beef. 18 ½ Steakhouse also offers hamburger steak, curry rice, and other western food . Recommendation: 1. Angus Steak (¥5,292) A bit expensive, but it is good meat and if it’s a special occasion, it’s not so bad to spend that much from time to time. 2. Fried Potato (¥486) It has sour cream and it is drizzled with sweet chilli sauce, which adds a kick to your normal fried potato. Don’t Order: WINE! It was bad move. They didn’t have a selection of wine, so it was kind of expected that they might serve a mediocre one. However, I was still hoping that it’ll be, somehow, tolerable or good since it seems like a fancy restaurant. But no, I regret it and hope I just ordered beer. It kind of ruined the flavour of the steak. I just end up drinking water to keep the taste of my Angus beef on my palate.
