Great woodfire oven pizzas!

If you've been craving a delicious woodfire oven pizza and you're in the Niigata area, Kankan is a place to have on your radar. They're located in Muikamachi and have a range of tasty toppings for customers to enjoy. Our favorites are their regular margherita (simple is often the best!) and their sausage and broccoli offering. Pastas are available too, but I haven't personally tried those since when we go we make a beeline for the pizza! They also have quite a decent wine list if you want to pair a beverage with your meal. Keep in mind that their hours are set in the style of a lunch period and a dinner period. Lunches are held every day (except Thursdays - they're closed) from 11.30am-2pm. Dinners are held every day except Thursdays and Sundays from 5.30pm-10pm.
