Spot of tranquility in Kichijoji

If you're seeking a moment of respite from the hustle and bustle of Kichijoji, Musashino Hachimangu offers just that. The shrine is dedicated to Emperor Ojin who was the first emperor of the Kofun period, and it's meant to be a local power spot. Although it was quiet on my visit, there are numerous festivals held at the shrine grounds throughout the year for those looking for a more lively vibe.
