Menya Matsuka is a ramen restaurant in Nagaoka, and one of their signature dishes is a herb-topped ramen (1000 yen) that's loaded up with a variety of seasonal herbs -- what you get will depend entirely on the time of year, which I think is pretty cool! Portions are big, and service is quick. Parking is available right outside the restaurant so it's convenient to visit. No English menus and minimal illustrations of the meal options, so keep that in mind if you plan to visit.
