Monja Tamatoya is a newly opened monjayaki spot located right by Niigata Station, so it already wins some points for the convenience aspect. Because there are hot plates set up at each table, it's much more interactive than your average restaurant meal. We went here as a family but I would absolutely come back if we had guests coming from overseas, I think they'd get a kick out of it. The menu is pretty broad, too, so it's particularly good for first-timers who aren't quite sure what they'll think of monjayaki.
