Nice Beers, Nice Price, Lovely Area

Across the street from the shopping area on Kesennuma Bay, this taproom location is open from 2PM on the weekend and 5PM the rest of the week, save for Tuesdays when it is closed. Patrons can enjoy the current on tap options and even buy some canned beers to take with them, too. To the left of the main tap room counter, there's a small shelf with other goods such as flannel shirts and hats with the company logo. They were reasonably priced for a locally made IPA and I like medium area beers, not too dark but not too light. These really fit the bill for me. While there is a small sitting area within the building where patrons can enjoy a glass of beer and maybe some fried potatoes from the shop across the aisle, one can also bring these things to go (as of 2021, during the pandemic) and take them outside for a walk around the town. I found the normal sized glass of beer in a to-go cup lasted me the entire walk to the Shark Museum which is about 12 minutes down the coast. If you're fond of locally brewed IPAs, this is a highly enjoyable stop and I would recommend it. We'll definitely go again when I have friends in town or need a day out.
