Fruit picking in a rural setting
Hilltop farm is a fruit picking farm. From January to April you can pick strawberries and from mid to late May to the end of June you can pick blueberries. The farm closed temporarily due to the coronavirus outbreak, but it opened back up for business on May 22nd. The blueberries are currently ripe for the picking. You can pick from early morning. It is advised to ring in advance to check times and conditions of the blueberries. The blueberry farm is on top of a hill with a nice view. The strawberry picking is indoor greenhouse picking. The greenhouse are further down the road from the main farm. When the strawberries are in season they have a reception area, clearly marked, at the greenhouses. Free parking for about 30 cars, but as the farm also has a shop and a cafe sometimes its hard to get a spot if you arrive after 11 am.
