Jomine Park Camping Ground

A campsite on top of the mountain

Jomine Park camping ground is located in Jomine Park in Kamikawa town, Saitama. The park and the campsite are on top of Mt Jomine and overlooking the Kanna Lake and Shimokubo Dam. Kamikawa borders Fujioka City in Gunma and half the lake and dam are in Gunma, half in Saitama. The campsite has cabins as well as tent sites. Both are relatively reasonably priced. There are three different types of cabins, A, B and C. We stayed in C, which are the only type which have a shower in the accommodation. They are old and plain, but they have some useful facilities such as a fridge, fan and gas rings. You can hire a gas heater for a nominal fee in the winter. There is a small restaurant and shop on the grounds. There is also a small playground in the campsite.
