    Cat-themed cafe

Being the cat fan that I am, I heard it through the grapevine that there was a new cafe for cat lovers in Yokohama. Supposedly, there's a cute cat named Kafka who graces the cafe with his presence when the he fancies. Unfortunately, when I visited, Kafka wasn't around. I decided to get a drink and snack anyway because I was already there. I spotted a tray of Halloween cupcakes on the counter and immediately made my choice. They had a cupcake and coffee set for 600 yen. I could choose from two different cupcake flavors and a siphon coffee, espresso, iced coffee, and latte, if I'm not mistaken. I chose the siphon coffee and cream cheese chocolate cupcake. They brew their coffee by cup, so it took a bit of time. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much coffee I received. It was enough for 2 mugs, so I felt the money was well spent! The cupcake was also pretty yummy, with the cream cheese frosting being the star. Their menu is pretty extensive, and goes beyond just coffees and baked goods. They have pasta, french fries, and other delicious things I didn't get a chance to try. But mark my words, I'll be back... Both for the food, and to catch a glimpse of Kafka.
