Floresta Nature Donuts

Can't go wrong with the cutest donuts ever

When it comes to food in Japan, you often find a lot of cute things - and I would say that Floresta Nature Donuts are up there with the cutest without a doubt. Floresta are actually a chain that you can find in a few different places across Japan, but the location that I visit is in Koenji in the Tokyo suburbs. The store makes a range of super adorable animal donuts daily - there are about 20 different animal styles in their repertoire, but they don't make all of them every day (usually I've found they have about 4-5 different ones daily, but there is always something awesome to choose from) and best of all they're known as healthy donuts. Not overly sweet, and made using natural ingredients. For instance, with the animal ears, they are usually made with almonds and then coated in the icing/frosting to give them a more realistic appearance. Definitely worth a visit!
