Smaller airport with easy bus access to the center of the city
Nagasaki Airport was a lot smaller than what I'd expected, but it was convenient in the sense that things like finding the baggage claim area was super easy. It did have a bit of a retro feel to it - but everything seemed well organized. There's no rail access to the center of the city, so buses are the way to go. They're situated right outside the arrivals area, with a ticket machine to pay the fare before you hop on. It takes about 45 minutes to get into the city so just bear that in mind when you arrive.
