Sprawling shopping complex wrapped around Chiba Station

Over and under Chiba Station is Perie Chiba, a shopping complex with seven floors and a basement food floor. You can't miss it on your visit to Chiba City's central station. The retail shops and food courts have various opening hours, but you can count on access between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. for most facilities (up to 10 p.m. for in-station shops). Perichica, the basement floor, has a food court, specialty shops, and a few restaurants, including a wine bar. It's a great place to shop for fashion, pick up souvenirs, or take a break. Note that it gets very busy at lunchtimes even on weekdays.
