This shaved ice shop opened in 2021 I think and often has a line but we finally checked it out. I think we went on a strangely not busy holiday, because it was a 3 day weekend when a typhoon was on the way. They have a system that each person should order one item minimum. Besides kakigoori, there is mont blanc with soft serve ice cream inside or merangue? (I couldn't actually read the menu well because I didn't have reading glasses with me.) This was super popular because every other group ordered one. Some people made videos while the mont blanc was made by staff. There is a seasonal kakigoori, which my husband chose: Western pear with caramel. I liked this one a lot as it was somewhat salty and savory. I ordered the strawberry with two kinds of homemade syrup and homemade condensed milk. The syrup was similar to strawberry jam and there were some pieces of fresh strawberry also. Other choices were green tea and grape with marscapone cheese. These are huge desserts and they are as expensive as a cafe lunch, but the place is new and has a really nice atmosphere. Lots of images of snowy mountains. They also sell drinks and there is free water and hot tea (needed so you don't freeze). It was a humid late summer day, but I felt cold after getting about halfway through. I'm interested to see what they offer during winter.
