    Convenient location, friendly staff

Abiko City has many historic places and natural beauty. It's a great place for a drive or cycling trip. Right outside the south exit of Abiko Station is Abishirube. The center is open from 9 am to 6 pm every day, so it's a great place to pick up some maps and tour guides, all free, before you start your adventure, or in the late afternoon to get some pointers about places to eat. The center has beautiful brochures in multiple languages so you can really get acquainted with the city's charm. Not all staff speak English, but they aren't shy about helping out with visitors who aren't fully fluent or literate in Japanese.
