Poppo no Sato Park

Quieter sakura spot in Ojiya

I'm such a fan of quieter sakura spots where you can appreciate the blooms without the crowds, and Poppo no Sato park in Ojiya is a great place to do just that. One of the features of the park is the no longer used railway tracks from the Uonuma Line offering a little slice of history, but the seasonal blooms are where it's at for me! Keep it in mind if you're looking for a cherry blossom destination that you'll have basically all to yourself on weekdays.
