Fun, Small Farm Experience for Kids
One of the best places we went in spring 2022 was Mouland in Miyagi, a small touristy farm place with a small restaurant attached. We had only barely shown up when one of the workers put an adorable baby bunny on our kid, who was overjoyed and sat patiently with the baby bunny before we went off to feed the rest of the animals (an experience for which one must buy a small baggie of veggies from the farm) and have a small guided pony ride (again, a process for which a fee was required) before we returned for more bunny snuggling. After the bunny snuggling, we went into the small attached giftshop and restaurant where we enjoyed freshly made ice cream and the lovely view of the fields that bounded out beyond the little farm. It was a good time and smaller than other farms we've been to, but we all genuinely had a great time even during golden week when we expected the crowds to render such an activity utterly uncomfortable.
