Quick and Good in Minato Mirai

There's this small storefront that basically looks like a large support pillar between Landmark Plaza and Queens Square. I remember thinking that it would be a good spot for a cafe back when it was a florist and ice cream shop. At least that's what I remember, hopefully it's not just confirmation bias. Imagine my surprise when one day a nice looking cafe did open in that spot. At first they used a roaster I didn't know and advertised their soft serve coffee ice cream a lot, so I went with that. I knew I'd be going back when I found that I've cream was quite good. It's been a while since then and Minato Coffee seems to have hit their stride. They now seem to only exclusively use coffee roasted by Light Up Coffee in Kichijoji or Single O in Ryogoku. Two cafes I always want to hit up but are way too far from Yokohama. So they cover a niche in multiple ways. In the days of Bukatsudo cafe that would've gotten me to visit them from time to time, but with Bukatsudo cafe taking a hiatus, they're definitely the best in the Minato Mirai area. They also roatate their espresso really frequently to the point where in the same week I've had very different espressos. The staff's pretty cool and definitely know what they're doing, but it is a small place where really only 1-2 people can work, so if there's a big group it's gonna take a while. They also have other offerings that are actually interesting (other cafes take note please) like an espresso soda with rotating ingredients. Meaning I was really disappointed last month when I saw their espresso soda was kiwi flavored but am extra excited to try this month's citrus flavored espresso soda. Also, again, their coffee soft serve ice cream is one of the best I've ever had as well, so it won't be hard to find something you like.
