Encounter Australia’s birds
Campbelltown, Australia and Koshigaya celebrated 10 years of sister city relations with the opening of this bird park between the Niigata and Furutone Rivers that flow through the city. B The facility is big - about 3000 square meters of netting to house all kinds of parrots, cockatiels and other wild birds native to Australia. The birds are right under your feet and over your head. Platforms and lookouts let visitors experience the forest understory and treetop spaces that the birds prefer. Some birds are caged for their safety and yours. In addition, there is a habitat for wallabies and emus just outside the gate, and periodically there is a petting zoo of other small mammals such as guinea pigs.
