Sanjo Spice Lab is a curry restaurant located in easy walking distance from Kita-Sanjo Station, and I'd happily recommend it to spice lovers out there. The curries on offer here are Indian-style, not Japanese style, but they're packed with flavor and really nicely presented! Their meal sets are priced between about 750 and 1350 yen depending on the type you choose, and they also offer desserts and drinks to accompany the meals with. Several of the curry options can also be made to-go if you don't have time to dine in or just want to relax with your meal at home.
