    French? Italian? But certainly delicious

Kashiwa City has so many good places for lunch. This is one of them. The speciality here is chiffon cake in so many varieties. Their cakes are also available for take out. Today, my companion and I just wanted a filling lunch. I’m seldom impressed with French or Italian food in Japan, but this was good. We had swordfish steaks with mixed grain rice and a side of salad. Everything was carefully prepared and served. The coffee to follow the meal was also good. When you’re there, have a peek at the front of the espresso machine. It’s signed by a local football player. This is a good place for a leisurely ladies’ lunch. Service is a bit slow. But if you’re in no hurry, it’s worth the wait.
