Great Value at this Semi-Commerical Supermarket
I second the other reviewer's thought on how Hanamasa has awesome deals especially for people ready to purchase in bulk. Hanamasa has two operations: normal supermarket as well as the commerical supermarket (for restaurant owners and etc), but many of their products and deals are shared, making sure that meat, fruits, and even alcohol are sold at a fair, if not cheap price. They also have some rare frozen foods and drinks, including some imported pizzas and dimsum, so it is always cool to check out their offerings. Hanamasa is definitely one of my favourite supermarkets in Tokyo.

Looking for the Cheapest Supermarket
I would say that this is the place I have been looking for relatively inexpensive meat and produce. What's more, the package sizes are usually in large quantities. I'm into meal prep. So, I usually buy more than 1,000 grams of meat good for a budget friendly meal prep dish. Beef meat is about 200 yen per 100grams, Pork meat is about 100 per 100 grams and so on. You can find fresh vegetables and fruits as well as frozen goods that are also a very good deal.
