Edomae style sushi in elegant atmosphere

Tsukiji Sushi Sei is located in Chiba City’s Sogo department store. The atrium overlooked by the 10th floor where the sushi restaurant is located is very elegant with a multi story waterfall and ample light. It’s a very pleasant atmosphere to retreat to in inclement weather. The sushi restaurant serves beautifully presented, fresh and delicious Edomae style sushi. We opted for 魚河岸 uogashi, a good variety served with flavorful akamiso soup. The service was good, and our meal was finished with a small desert of sweet beans and mochi dusted with green tea. The prices are reasonable and an English menu is helpful for diners who aren’t fully literate in Japanese.
