Mizuhata Kannon / Temple is a stunning temple in Saitama City. However, it has gone to great lengths to stay private. For one, they have blocked Google street view. Two, they lock up the grounds from 4 pm to 10 am and with high walls and gates you can't see from the outside. Moreover, although you can visit to pray between 10 am and 4 pm, as I did, you need an appointment to go past the main hall. There is a little reception office on the right hand side as you pass through the impressive gates, with a bell you can ring for the priest or a staff member to enquire about making an appointment or rambling the grounds.
