Saiboku no Mori

Relatively cheap Athletic Playground

Saiboku no Mori is a colorful athletic playground on the grounds of Saiboku (a ham company) Headquarters. It replaced a putter golf area in 2019. Its not that large, but its nicely done. There are ten pieces of equipment. Its quite chic really, with manicured lawns and red foot paths. The wood they used in the playground equipment is nicely shaped and painted. They say it is up to the age of twelve, but I personally think it is best suited for the five to eight year old range. Despite the fact that you have to pay in (even adults), it is usually very busy, especially on the weekend.
