If you're visiting or living in the Agano area of Niigata, a great spot to check out at this time of year is the Hyoko Waterfowl Park. The appeal lies in all the seasonal flowers, with the highlights being the hydrangeas and the lotus flowers. During winter, it's a migratory spot for swans, so there's benefits to visiting at that time of year as well!
