Neat little Hidden Diner

It's actually this: 宮城県塩竈市尾島町４－２５第２グリーンビル１Ｆ NO.2 GREEN BLDG. 1F., 4-25, OJIMACHO, SHIOGAMA, MIYAGI One of my friends suggested this place for lunch one day and I was surprised as I had never heard of this place at all. The bento lunches on the signpost outside looked decent so we went in. There was a small dining area with a kids play area to the side. I grabbed a spicy chicken bento which came with plenty of chicken and some seasoned saffron rice. It was the delicious and not too spicy, which was a concern since I'm sensitive to American level spicy foods. The atmosphere fit for a tiny 50s diner feel and the mega sized crepes I saw the other table dive into were impressive and very photogenic. Also they had ramune and very reasonable prices, so it was very easy to enjoy. The drinks were 120 yen and the lunches were 500 yen plus tax, which is a steal considering how much chicken and rice I ate. The savory bentos are simple, delicious and cheap while the desserts are flashier with a price tag to match, but all seems good and fitting. I'll be back with my husband.
