Nice and Normal
It's a normal Japanese hotel chain, so it does a really good job of what it is meant to do, which is basic small hotel rooms with a large onsen style bath, and honestly, that's pretty good for a reasonably priced hotel even in the middle of nowhere. My family stayed here in May of 2023. We really enjoyed it. I did not get a chance to sample the coffee at the lounge area as it was closed when we got back from dinner. In the morning, we were in too much of a rush to stop and have a coffee break. The breakfast supported enough fruit for me to be happy, even if it was a canned fruit cocktail. At least it was fruit. There were also decent enough internationally applicable breakfast options that I didn't feel compelled to only eat rice and fish. The room was not terribly spacious, but that is to be expected. The beds were comfortable. Our view was literally of a brick wall, which kind of made the windows feel pointless, but I suppose I'd prefer windows to curtains hung over a wall.
