The winter lights will be on soon
A nice place to visit if you are in Enoshima and like flowers. The Sea Candle, an observation tower, is a lovely focal point and creates a gorgeous backdrop to photos. (If you want to go up the Sea Candle you have to pay an additional fee). I particularly recommend it in spring when the roses are in bloom or in winter when they light the garden up with LED lights. Well worth the 200 yen into this garden in my humble opinion.

Gorgeous view, historical and botanical insights
The hybrid western-Japanese botanical garden was the dream of an Irish transplant, Samuel Cocking, in the Meiji era. The heated greenhouses he built here were state-of-the-art with a heating system and brick foundations. The greenhouses were lost in the 1923 earthquake and revealed in the early 2000s. One of them has been restored. The modern garden is planted with camellias and tropical plants. Dominating the garden is the Enoshima Sea Candle lighthouse which affords views of Enoshima, Fujisawa, and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji. It's a great date spot and the sights are Instagrammable. You can get a combined ticket for Iwaya caves, the garden, and the Sea Candle to make a day of the island.

Decent but Unnecessary
This is a neat little garden in the middle of the island. However, I am not sure if it is worth costing extra, even if it is just 200 yen per person. The size of the garden is not that big, and considering that you are already surrounded by nature when you are on Enoshima: the ocean, the mountain, greens, etc, this curated garden feels a bit out of place. So it is not a bad place at all, but there is also no particular need to go, and you can save the money for icecream instead.

Historical botanic garden at Enoshima
If you're visiting Enoshima and enjoy botanical gardens, definitely stop by the Samuel Cocking Gardens. The gardens were established back in the late 1800s, and you'll find a mix of both Japanese and Western style horticultural design here. The admission price is a very reasonable 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
