Higanbana x Torii

While driving between two places I spotted this shrine - or more accurately the higanbana - on the way. I pulled in to investigate. It is just a regular local shrine, nothing special and unmanned, but the sight of higanbana with the torii in the background was enough to make me stop and appreciate the scene. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit this location, but if you are in the area in higanbana season, it might be worth popping by. There are also some hydrangea down the side of the shrine and surprisingly some of them were blooming - in September!
