    Great location with juicy burgers

Kua Aina is the only hamburger chain shop I'll go out of my way to eat at. The burger shop has about 30 locations in Japan besides a few in Taiwan and the UK. You get big, juicy burgers on a kaiser or brioche roll, sides of fries and onion rings for a decent price. They also have Kona Brewing lagers and ales. The location is also a treat - you can perch on the second and third floor dining areas with windows overlooking busy Aoyamadori.

Hawaiian Style Burgers at this chain store location

Kua Aina Burger is a chain that you'll find in a few spots across Japan, and the store in Minamiaoyama was the first time I visited the chain several years ago. As you may be able to tell from the name, it's a Hawaiian burger joint that has made its way over to Japan. You'll find those nods to Hawaii on their menu, with pineapple and avocado burgers featuring prominently. As well as the extensive range of burgers and sandwiches on the menu, there are pancakes piled high with toppings and a variety of sides. Seating at this store is split over several levels with some narrow staircases so do bear that in mind. The hours at the Minamiaoyama store are from 11am until 10pm during the week, and from 10am until 10.30pm on weekends. Last orders are taken half an hour before closing time every day. The closest station is Omotesando (head out either the B1 or B3 exit).
