Mountainside azalea temple

Shohoji Temple is an otherwise unassuming mountainside temple hidden up a back road in the hills of Tokigawa. There is little on the web in any language about this clandestine temple in the hills of Tokigawa, but it was put on my radar as it participates in an annual azalea festival in Tokigawa. The temple has some beautiful azalea framing the temple in spring. There are also a few weeping cherry blossoms on the grounds, and butterfly flowers, which this area of Tokigawa is renowned for.
