Meisui no Sato Kurobe

Not quite the Hollywood sign!

"Meisui no Sato" means something along the lines of "Home of famous waters." There are a few "Meisui no Sato" around the country. This one is in Kurobe. It is located within Miyano Sports Park. You can see the sign from miles around. And from the lookout point past the sign, you can see for miles with views of the bullet train tracks, the Hokuriku Expressway, wind turbines, and Toyama Bay.
