    Enjoyable Light Chinese Lunch

This is one of the new restaurants in Parco2, the newest department store in central Sendai. The menu is about what you would expect from a Chinese place in Japan and the shoronpo (my very favorite of the Chinese-in-Japan dishes) was pretty good, though it did come weirdly connected to a large flat piece of thin pastry with a small pizza cutter to separate the 4 little dumplings. This was easy enough but the crunch of the thin pastry really did not add much to the rest of the meal. The lunch was well worth the money as it was both filling and delicious, though my counterpart did not care for the egg drop soup. I guess if you're an egg drop soup connoisseur, it might be a thing to avoid, but if you're a novice like me, it's fine. Service was fine, too. I'm marking the English as partial because some of the instructions contained English though we never spoke to the staff in anything for Japanese so it is not clear that they know.
