The cafe is known locally for the diligent staff who reside in the adjacent support facility for disabled people. There is a gallery in the cafe which also showcases some of their art work. It gets excellent reviews for its delicious food and peaceful atmosphere, so it is often busy. Particularly in rose season, because the park is renowned for its roses and people come from far and wide to admire them.
