1901 Tea Salon is one of the top rated cafes in Kawagoe City, and with good reason. The tea and treats that come with the tea set are absolutely delicious. Furthermore, they are presented beautifully. The building is also beautiful, it catches your eye from a distance. And inside is equally picture perfect. The menu is quite small, but the wagashi (Japanese sweets) change every two weeks. The season set is particularly recommended. Comfortable seating. Lovely staff. The only negative: they only accept cash payments.
