Probably the smallest bakery in Japan
Hidden along one of the slopes of Onomichi, this cute shop is probably the smallest bakery in Japan (and in the world?). It is so tiny that only one person can fit in and some of the cookies have to be stored in a drawer below the counter. All the goods are home baked in the morning in the same building and, despite the size of the premises, there is quite a bit of variety and some seasonal treats. Outside the shop there is an old-fashioned player, and you can listen to music recorded by local artists, including the husband of the owner of Nekonotepan. Even the name of the shop is cute, it means "cat's paw".
